Creating a feature date interferes with calendar integration

Yesterday, August 2, I created a note for August 3 through the
/date
function.Noticed that today (August 3), my calender events weren’t pulled in, until I deleted references to the note, deleted the note for August 3 (which it doesn’t normally allow on daily notes), and re-synced my calendar.
It seemed like there were two notes created for August 3, despite sharing the same title.
Just made a note for tomorrow, and will follow up in this thread with a video demoing what I’m talking about.
Not sure if this would be a separate feature request, but it would be awesome if cuture calendar events showed on notes created through
/date
(IE I could go to a future date and pre-plan notes for a particular meeting)quentin valero

quentin valero: Seems to work well! I can see calendar events (main thing I wanted for meeting notes) - made some notes for a meeting tomorrow, and if you don't hear from me, it worked great. Thanks for the fix!

Hello David,
Indeed.
We have identified the 2 issues and they’re planned.
We’re hiding Journal entry from All notes if they are empty (which in the case of future dates is not smart, because they start empty :( ). Will be fixed.
Concerning calendar events not showing, we’re not fetching future events so there is no reason for them to show up.
It’s going to be fixed in the next release (2 weeks or earlier).
Thanks a lot.
